Biography

When the 16-year-old Gerald Turek was lifting weights for the first time, nobody guessed that he would end up in MMA. Besides his regular fitness training, Gerald Turek has been playing tennis for 8 years, and continues to play tennis as well as train in MMA.

At the age of 20 he got fascinated by the sport of MMA for the first time, then he met Andreas Stockmann and was greatly influenced by the German MMA veteran and his attitude towards the sport. Gerald Turek then began to train boxing, Brazilian Jiujitsu and Thai-boxing.

Career

Gerald made his professional debut in the FFC, fighting against Pavel Botka at "Free Fight Championship". In this fight Turek won by TKO. Turek is currently ranked by FREE AGENCY HEAVYWEIGHT RANKINGS as the #37 Heavyweight Mixed Martial Artist in he world. His last fight against Gerald Turek at "Ultimate Cage Fighters 3 - Austria vs. Serbia " in Vienna, Austria where he won by TKO against Serbian fighter Ilija Loncar.
